Hi backers,

Very exciting (short) update - 22 of the locations are now with me! I've started grading around my day job with the help of family members and if we can continue at the current pace, I should be able to start preparing shipments this weekend! 

I've had a quick look at a couple of each design and we may need to remake Narnia - the screenprint on the few I've seen looks a little off centre, but I'll check them all and arrange for remakes if need be so that they're perfect.

The remaining 3 designs (Moon, Mordor, Lavender Town) are being remade and should finish in a couple of weeks. 

As a reminder, addresses on BackerKit are set to automatically lock within the next 24 hours so please double check your address as soon as you can!

Hi backers!

Thank you so much for your patience while these awesome pins have been in production! Because he knows we're excitedly waiting for them, my manufacturer has kindly offered to send me all the finished pins now with the 3 remake designs (Mordor, Lavender Town, and the Moon) to follow once they're finished in a couple of weeks. Provided there are no problems with the pins once they're with me, I hope to be in good shape to start shipping pledges which do not include the 3 remake designs very soon!

Therefore, please double check your address on BackerKit and ensure it is correct as all addresses will be locked in on Wednesday 9 June. If you're moving in the next 2-3 months and are worried your pledge might get lost in the mail, please email me at [email protected] to let me know and we'll work it out together. If you're having any trouble using BackerKit (or have any other queries), please get in touch using the same email address. For those waiting on one of the three remake designs, you won't need to wait much longer - we're already well into producing the remakes so it'll be only a couple of extra weeks to ensure they're perfect.

Timing & Pin Update

Hi backers!

All of the pins were finished this week which is great news! Unfortunately we need to fix some of the colours on three of them - Lavender Town, Mordor, and the Moon (some photos below, though I think Kickstarter has nerfed the quality of the pictures!). This should only take another 2 weeks but that means shipping out rewards will be delayed a little to mid June. I figured it would be better to delay (especially as Lavender Town and Mordor are so popular with backers) than have pins with the wrong colours in them. 

The rest of the pins look absolutely amazing - there are some photos and videos on my Instagram highlights and I've compiled the videos I have below. Thank you so much for your patience - we're nearly there!

Four more pins finished!

Hi everyone!

Another four pins have been completed - Normandy, Emerald City, Skyhold, and Narnia - with a typically awful manu photo below (which was taken sideways and near the surface which is why the ones on the right look bigger!), but they're otherwise looking great. I'm told the rest should finish this week - I'll continue to post any photos I receive to keep you updated. 

Once they're shipped to me (it usually takes a several business days for packages to arrive), I then need to grade them. I'll get some extra hands to help if I can as we've something like 7,000 pins to check (and I must check every single one to ensure they're of good quality). That will be a few days of work as we need to fit that process around our day jobs. All this to say, provided there are no shipping delays or quality issues, we should be in a position to start shipping by the second weekend of June. I'm sorry this is later than the early May timing we had planned - a mix of Kickstarter fund delays, an unexpectedly large volume of pins, and public holidays in China.  I'll post another update on Kickstarter (and you'll get a BackerKit email) 48 hours before addresses are locked in to give you an opportunity to check those (and update them if needed).

Hi all,

Three more locations have been finished and some photos are below - the usual heads up about terrible manufacturer photos applies! I think they look great despite the poor lighting 😄

On timing, they've just had a 5-day national holiday in China (where our pins are produced) so it'll be another week or two at least before all are finished, but the factory assures me they're doing the best they can. I have asked them not to rush though, lest they make mistakes!
