Stretch goals - pins, lanyards, and washi tape!

Hi everyone!

As promised, here are our stretch goals for this campaign! We've got NINE new pin designs to unlock (it was suuuuper tough choosing which locations to do - thank you so much for all your suggestions on my Instagram post!), a matte sticker sheet with all 25 designs on it, and 3 fiction-related washi tape & lanyard sets.  I wanted to avoid designing tape/lanyards specific to each location because this way (1) unlocking them is more realistic and (2) folks have more 'themes' to choose from. Be sure to check out the project page to see the lanyard and tape sets (I forgot to make a fancy graphic of them for this update...sorry!). 

And as before, if you pledge for 4 or more pins, you will receive one additional pin for free of any unlocked design. So, for example, if you pledge for 5 pins, you'll get a 6th pin for free, PLUS a sticker sheet, PLUS any lanyard and tape set! 

If we somehow manage to smash these stretch goals, let me know what else you'd like to see - more pins  (we've currently got 16/25 unlocked which is super exciting), more lanyard/tape sets, other freebies. I'm open to ideas as I really didn't expect all your support so completely failed to prepare extra goodies!

Hi everyone!

Wowsers, what an exciting week! I am unbelievably excited about this project and so glad other folks are too! I'm hugely grateful to all the backers who have pledged (including the UK backers on Etsy!), the folks who have liked, shared, and commented on social media posts, to those who have provided feedback on the campaign, and to whichever heroic Kickstarter member of staff chose this as a "Project We Love". Thank you, all!

I don't mind letting you all know that I do a funky little dance every time we unlock a pin. The fact we've unlocked all 16 pins within 48 hours of launch is amazing.

What next?

I'd love to offer some stretch goals. I'm going to come up with some more super locations and also some backer freebies to say a huge thank you for your support.  These will be announced over the next few days. Meanwhile, my latest post on Instagram is asking for any location suggestions in the comments, so please feel free to let me know where you'd like the project to go and I'll try and choose places you want to see! If we unlock other freebies down the road, you'll be entitled to them regardless of whether you pledged before or after they are unlocked.

Early Bird Offer

Please note that the early bird offer ends at 18:00pm JST - that's around 7 hours from now. Once the offer is over pins will be $9 each going forward. During the rest of the campaign Early Bird backers can still change their pledge using the "Manage My Pledge" function however it will not be possible to switch to a different Early Bird tier after the offer expires, so be sure to double check which tier you're on! If we unlock even more designs you love over the next couple of weeks, you'll still be able to add extra pins to your pledge using the "add on" function. If you cancel an Early Bird pledge after it expires, you won't be able to re-pledge at the discounted price. Hopefully I have explained that OK but please let me know if anything is unclear!

As an aside, the add-on tool is great - it enables you to add as many extra pins as you want to your pledge (you can amend your pledge at any time to increase or decrease the number of add-ons that you'd like). If we manage to unlock some backer freebies, they'll also become available as add-ons if you want any extras of those.  I'll be using BackerKit for this project to collect survey responses and addresses after it has finished so that will be another opportunity to grab any extras at the Kickstarter price. :)
